The project implementation takes place in WPs.

WP1 - GESTIONE DEL PROGETTO /DS1 - PROJEKTNO UPRAVLJANJE (responsible MPŠ)

The WP concerns with administrative and financial management and general coordination of the project and partnership.

WP2 - ATTIVITÀ DI COMUNICAZIONE /DS2 – KOMUNIKACIJA (responsible CORILA)

WP2 is intended for the implementation of communication activities in accordance with the prepared communication plan. The communication manager, in collaboration with all partners, will coordinate the planned activities at local, national and international level to communicate the results of the project.

Two workshops will be organized, one for waste and pollutant companies (e.g. shipyards) and companies involved in the management of hazardous waste (e.g. companies from technology centers in the APR).

WP3.1 - SVILUPPO DI TECNOLOGIE VERDI INNOVATIVE /DS3.1 - RAZVOJ INOVATIVNIH ZELENIH TEHNOLOGIJ (responsible MPŠ) and WP3.2 - UTILIZZO DI TECNOLOGIE VERDI INNOVATIVE /DS3.2 - UPORABA INOVATIVNIH ZELENIH TEHNOLOGIJ (responsible NIB)

WP3.1 and WP3.2 are intended to implement the development activities of two innovative green technologies for the sampling of fouling from the hull of ships for ecological cleaning purposes, as well as the pilot use for demonstration of the sustainable use of the developed technologies by businesses.

The implementation plan initially includes the legal and professional assistance activities related to the protection of the environment and the quality of marine waters at international, European and national level, necessary to ensure the development and use of innovative green technologies; the legal analysis will be completed by a review of the technical literature in the field of technological development. The
guidelines and requirements for the development of green technologies will serve as a basis for the development and use of green technologies.

Two ecological technologies will be developed, namely a
multisensory underwater robotic platform equipped with a cleaning system and a modular cleaning device. The developed technologies will be tested first in a test environment where their performance will be verified.

Together with the development and use of the developed technologies, the necessary activities will also be carried out to guarantee the protection of the environment and the quality of marine waters, in particular the development of the
model of the IBSN hazardous waste management system.

Monitoring of environmental parameters during sampling will follow, as well as the biochemical analysis of waste water and dry waste matter for testing and pilot use. The latter will serve to verify the quality of the purified water before returning to the sea and the mass of waste to be recycled or incinerated.

A study will be conducted to explore how to establish and manage a cross-border infrastructure for the treatment of such waste, taking into account the relevant legislation.

The pilot application and the demonstration of green technologies in the real environment for companies will follow.
